Answers to questions you may have
Q) When may I see the hall or sign a contract?
A) We show the hall without appointment during our business hours, Wednesday through Friday from 9 am through 5 pm. Also, evening and weekend appointments are available to fit your schedule.
Q) May I reserve the hall verbally over the phone?
A) No. You need to sign a contract to reserve the hall.
Q) Do you require a security deposit?
A) Yes. A security deposit of $500 is due when you sign a contract. Generally, if there are no charges against your security deposit after the event, it will be refunded to the person/address listed on your contract.
Q) When are my hall rental payments due?
A) Your first payment (50% of your contract price) is due 28 days before the event and the remainder 14 days prior.
Q) Is there a kitchen for customer use?
A) You need to bring catered food to our hall in heavy-duty, disposable aluminum pans. We have commercial food warmers and a refrigerator available for food storage. Use of our kitchen onsite is highly restricted, and, if approved by our Board of Directors, is open to licensed caterers only; associated fees and insurance apply.
Q) May I serve alcohol?
A) Yes. You may have beer, wine, and champagne at your event; our staff will serve it. No hard liquor is permitted, and it will be confiscated on sight. You will be responsible for applying for and sending us a copy of an approved Virginia State ABC License 14 days prior to your event. Each guest (age 21 and over) who wishes to drink alcohol at your event will receive a wristband.
Q) Do you decorate for us?
A) No. You are allowed three hours to do your own set-up and decorations. We do have restrictions on how and where you may fasten decorations.
Q) Do I have to clean up?
A) No. We take care of this. That said, you must remove everything you brought to the hall immediately after the event.
Q) What if I want more event or set-up time? What about rehearsal time?
A) We are committed to making sure your event is all you envision it to be! We offer extra event and set-up time for an additional charge. You may also arrange rehearsal time during our business hours or by appointment.
Q) Anything else I should know?
A) Our hall is not available for rental on Fridays or the first Sunday of each month. All events must end before 12 midnight. In accordance with applicable Fairfax County noise ordinances, all music and DJ presentations must end at 10:45 pm. Last call for drinks is 30 minutes before close.
Q) May I call for an estimate?
A) Definitely! When you contact us, please provide the following details: date and hours of your event (such as January 4, 2022, 5-11 pm), total number of guests, type of event, and if you plan to serve alcohol. We look forward to assisting you!
